Make your account feel like you

Sign in with Microsoft, save named skins in a local library, and preview skins and capes in 3D.

Bring an existing adventure along

Windows x64 releases are available on GitHub, with an installer, a portable package, and SHA-256 checksums.

Choose a Windows download

Install it

Choose Setup.exe for a per-user installation with a Start Menu shortcut and uninstaller.

Keep it portable

Choose the Windows x64 ZIP, extract the whole package into a writable folder, and run awakelauncher.exe.

Add your account in Accounts, then choose Create instance. Close Minecraft and the launcher before updating.

A few things
to know.

Do I need to own Minecraft?

Use your Microsoft account with Minecraft: Java Edition. Awake Launcher manages installations; it does not include a Minecraft license.

Will it move my existing instances?

Awake uses its own data folder. Local import copies supported instances and leaves the originals intact. Sign in separately through Awake.

What about Linux and macOS?

Windows x64 is the current release and validation platform. Linux and macOS need Awake-specific validation before release.
